To explain the process of downloading and processing information from satellites in deep space I created this short animated video for NASA using the metaphor of a "star wash" to illustrate the steps involved in data clean-up.
Working with subject matter experts and a writer and sound editor, I created storyboards which were used to ensure informational accuracy, then created backgrounds and both 2D and 3D animation, using Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and Maya.
The final product was edited in Premiere.
